Since 2048 hit the iTunes store, this highly addictive, yet surprisingly simple puzzle game has rapidly been gaining popularity around the world. Everywhere you go, you are sure to come across someone staring intently at their phone, their fingers gliding over the screen. Chances are, they’re playing 2048. But what’s all the hype about? The answer is obvious: it’s easy to play yet hard to win. This combination will have you scrambling to play it whenever you have free time. The objective of the game is pretty straightforward; all you have to do is rack up 2048 points by sliding around blocks, combining similar ones to double the numbers. It really just simple addition, but as you continue to play, you realize that some strategy is necessary in order to come close to victory.
Try making your own version at some point, could be a cool challenge

I actually made one earlier but unfortunately it’s on my laptop at home. I’ll be sure to upload it onto Github as soon as I get back.
